Snag Dwellers

"Snag Dwellers"

16" x 20" Original Acrylic - SOLD

I painted "Snag Dwellers" in a collaborative project called "Ekphrastic Reversed," where each artist created a piece of art in response to an assigned piece of written work. My inspiration was a poem called "Hazard, Home" by Christine Lowther, discussing tree snags as wildlife habitat. My cedar snag is a home to wrens, chickadees and Northern Saw-whet owls.
